I liked my work at the department of mathematics at University of Klagenfurt very much, I met many kind colleagues and I learned a lot at my job.

I had various responsibilities - here an incomplete list:
* Administration of three DEC server hosted by ZID
* Administration of Linux workstations
* Helping PhD students (mostly trying to solve LaTeX or Matlab/Octave issues)
* Helping visiting professors with IT equipment

I also was giving a lecture to my group on how to use Linux workstation (Redhat) - XEmacs/LaTeX/Matlab/Mathematica/…

The reason why I've quit this job was that I was not satisfied with the progress in my studies and so I was looking for a job at home, where I “only” had to do one job.

During my work at university I had also a job as administrator of a dormitory (Mozartheim). My employer was Volkshilfe Kärnten, but I didn't ask for a letter of recommendation from this employer.
